Strong Focus on Personal Development & Academic Rigor

A complete educational curriculum is offered by Oakland College to our primary students, aged 5 to 11. The curriculum at Oakland College is based upon the international curriculum from Cambridge Assessment International Education, starting with Cambridge Primary Year 1 through Year 6.

The combined international programmes guarantee a seamless transfer through the academic years and give students the opportunity to thrive in a challenging, widely verified, and highly respected world-class educational programme.

Although we use the international curriculum from the Cambridge Assessment International Education, we are a truly international school and proud to be so! In primary school, we use our 'Positive Education' ethos to develop skills for academics and personal achievement as well as for wellbeing, happiness, and character development.

Curriculum & Personal Development

Each child's path is supported by experiential and differentiated learning, investigative work, and real-life experiences, which are strengthened by their welfare and the development of distinct character traits.

We encourage children to think outside the box and challenge convention, developing their self-esteem, harnessing their leadership and teamwork skills, and inculcating the values of self-discipline, citizenship, respect, and humility.

Through Oakland's leading-edge STEAM and Design Thinking programme and project-based learning pedagogy, children become comfortable with technology, electronic and programmable toys, and educational software.
